Made from recycled float glass, these tiles come in irregular shapes with a colour film bonded to the back, giving them a vibrant look. Plus, they have smooth, rounded edges that don’t require cutting, though you can use wheeled nippers if you prefer. Match Sticks
Our Glass Match Sticks are perfect for any of your mosaic craft projects. Each stick measures 5x25x6mm and is excellent for interior and exterior work. The glass sticks are easy to cut with tile nippers and provide a nice texture to your finished products. With various colours available, you can find the perfect glass sticks to match your project. Bases
Interior
Our Mosaic Bases are crafted from MDF and are not recommended for outdoor use due to their susceptibility to weather damage. However, our boards have a distinctive burnt edging, achieved through laser cutting, that helps prevent moisture from seeping in. We suggest sealing both sides of your project and the edges before starting your mosaic work to ensure durability. A 50/50 mix of PVA and water is a suitable sealant. Please keep them away from water, rain, and other moisture sources. Please note that hanging hardware is omitted. You may use a simple D-Ring to hang them, but make sure to use the appropriate screw size (6mm or 9mm), depending on the thickness of your base. Feel free to peruse our Photo Albums for inspiration from our Students, and we also have a selection of Acrylic substrates available for outdoor use.
Exterior
Our Exterior Shapes are perfect for decorating their outdoor space with a unique mosaic craft. These shapes are made from high-quality acrylic, making them safe to hang outside. When you receive your shape it will come with either a white or brown film, which you will need to peel off before you mosaic. Choose either Prep-Multi or Silicone adhesive for the best results. Glass Tiles
Vitreous
Vitreous tiles are perfect for beginners or large projects. These tiles are made from glass and have a slightly pitted surface. The tiles come in various sizes and colours so you can find the perfect hue for your project. Please note that when using any of the Vitreous ranges, be mindful that a darker grout may grab the surface of the lighter tiles and require a bit more cleaning than usual. Crystal
Create a stunning mosaic with these beautiful Crystal Tiles! Each tile is made of clear moulded glass with the colour infused underneath, creating a unique and eye-catching design. Available in two sizes – 23x23mm and 10x10mm – and with a thickness of 4mm, these tiles have no sharp edges and are safe to handle. Shapes
Our beautiful acrylic shapes add that little difference to your mosaic work, giving you clean lines and a great focal point. These come with a paper film on top for protection. To use, just peel the underside off and, glue it in place, continue on with your mosaic right through to the grouting process. Once your project is all cleaned off and ready to hang, you can peel the top layer off to reveal your decal. Try not to rub this area to avoid scratches. However, a fine sponge can be used to wipe out any dust build-up. Check out our Tutorials to view what we have created with some of our shapes. Another Idea is some of the smaller shapes come with a hole at the top eg: The tree of life. These are fantastic to thread with Nylon or Tigertail and thread beads on to make a gorgeous window hanging.
