This MDF board is ideal for indoor or undercover areas and should not be exposed to wet weather.
Additional Information:
The elephant shapes are made from black acrylic and come with a brown paper film. Simply peel off the paper to glue the pieces in place. Once grouted, the top layer can be peeled off.
Caring for Your MDF Board
MDF is not water resistant, so it is essential to seal your board before applying tiles. A simple and cost effective method is to mix equal parts of water and PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate) and apply it to all surfaces, including the sides and back.
Once your mosaic is complete and grouted, we recommend painting the sides and back with multiple layers of paint to protect against moisture. For added durability, finish by sealing the mosaic surface with a high quality grout sealer.
