Caring for Your MDF Board

As MDF is not water resistant, it’s essential to seal the board before applying tiles. A simple and effective method is to mix equal parts water and PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate) and apply it to all surfaces, including the edges and back.

After finishing your mosaic and grouting, it’s advisable to paint the sides and back with a couple of coats of paint to prevent moisture damage. To ensure long lasting durability, seal the mosaic surface with a high quality grout sealer.
