This engraved MDF board is a perfect base for your mosaic project. The pre engraved pattern makes it easy to create a stunning design with mosaic tiles, beads, or glitter.

Caring for Your MDF Board

As MDF is not moisture resistant, it is essential to seal the base before applying your tiles. A budget friendly method is to mix equal parts water and PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate) and coat all surfaces, including the sides and back.

Once your mosaic is complete and grouted, we recommend painting the sides and back with multiple layers of paint to prevent moisture penetration. For added protection and longevity, seal the mosaic surface with a high quality grout sealer.
