This engraved MDF board provides an excellent base for your mosaic project. The pre engraved pattern makes it easy to bring your creative vision to life using mosaic tiles, beads, or glitter.

Caring for Your MDF Board

Since MDF is not moisture resistant, it is important to seal the base before applying tiles. A cost effective method is to mix equal parts water and PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate) and apply it to all surfaces, including the sides and back.

Once your mosaic is complete and grouted, painting the sides and back with multiple layers of paint will help prevent moisture penetration. For added protection and durability, seal the mosaic surface with a high quality grout sealer.
