Caring for Your MDF Board
MDF is not moisture resistant, so sealing your base before applying tiles is essential. A simple and economical method is mixing equal parts of water and PVA glue (Polyvinyl Acetate) and applying it to all surfaces, including the edges and back.

Once your mosaic is complete and grouted, we recommend painting the sides and back with multiple layers of paint to prevent moisture damage. Finish by sealing the mosaic surface with a high quality grout sealer for long lasting results.
