This is such a great project for using up small shards of left over tesserae. We save every bit of scrap we work with to make these little projects happen. All you need is a double-wheeled glass cutters, and appropriate glue for internal. We use Weldbond glue for Interior and for Acrylic {Exterior) we use Silicone adhesive for the 3 D part and Prep Multi adhesive for the base glue. All links to products below. Enjoyed making this one, however lots of cleaning of the tree. If wanting a simplistic option to all the cleaning I would recommend using the lime puzzle pieces for the back fill of tree instead of the lime stained glass. Hope you enjoyed. Making quirky flowers for Mosaic work using 20mm stained glass square (beginners)

Had fun making this piece. Materials used include stained glass, mirror circles, and acrylic Yin and Yang. The substrate is engraved with a pattern already embedded in the wood. Our 3 D Flower was created using stained glass in yellow, orange and green shades. We have cut these into petal shapes approx 60mm long. The substrate is 150mm in height MDF Base. The glue we have used is Prep glue to glue our first row of petals to the base. To create flowers we have used Sellys silicone translucent. Centre of the flower we have cut black opaque 10mm tiles in half and various beads to fill in the centre as well.. For more info please do not hesitate to contact us.

This lovely video will show you how we have created our teardrop. We have used Stained glass sheets in 3mm. The tools we are using are Oil Filled Glass cutters and Running Pliers. If you are unfamiliar with cutting the larger glass sheets, you can use a round-wheeled mosaic cutter to fill spaces with smaller shards of glass.
